PM Modi to interact with Viksit Vibrant Village Programme participants
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will talk to young people who took part in a special program called the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme.
This program is about making border villages in Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand better places to live.
Over 400 young people from all over India were chosen through a quiz to join this program.
They lived with local communities, did clean-up drives, planted trees, and learned about the importance of these border areas.
The program helps the young people understand the needs and aspirations of the people living in these villages and how important these villages are for the country's security and development.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will interact with participants of the Viksit Vibrant Village Programme 2026 on Sunday at 4:30 P.M. through video conferencing.
The programme covers 74 villages across Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.
Over 400 youth participants were selected through a nationwide online quiz competition.
Participants lived with local communities and undertook various activities like clean-up drives and tree plantation.
