Lyricist's Recollection: How He Missed Bollywood Film Opportunity

Sameer Anjaan, a lyricist, recently shared a story about how he almost worked on the film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' but didn't.

He and the film's director, Mansoor Khan, used to hang out with other people including Aamir Khan and the director's father, Nasir Hussain.

Mansoor's father told him to make a short film first.

Sameer wrote a song for the short film 'Umberto', and they would get together every day to talk about the song.

The film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak' then came to be.
