Bhopal: Many Opt Out of Special Armed Force Posts
Imagine the police have a special team called the SAF, and they needed new people.
Even though people passed the test to join, many are not signing up.
The SAF wanted 2,600 new members, but only 1,600 said yes.
Some folks are already in the police and are checking in with their IDs and health.
The SAF is harder work than the regular police, called the DF, because SAF members have to live away from their families.
They are assigned to VIP duties, emergencies, or elections.
Many try to switch from the SAF to the DF for more freedom.
The police are now looking at a waiting list to find people to fill the open SAF jobs.
Many candidates are not joining the Special Armed Force (SAF) after passing the constable exam.
The SAF aimed to fill 2,600 posts but only 1,600 candidates joined.
Around 3,600 candidates have reported for the joining process out of 6,423 selected.
The SAF involves more demanding work compared to the District Force (DF).
Officials are awaiting the waiting list to fill the remaining SAF posts.
