Nestle India Q1: Net Profit Declines Amidst Rising Costs
Nestle India's profits went down in the last three months.
This is because the ingredients for things like KitKat and Nescafe got more expensive.
Even though they sold more products, the extra costs meant they didn't make as much money.
They also had to borrow money, which added to their expenses.
Good news is that some prices are stabilizing.
A new boss will take over in a couple of years.
Even with the challenges, they are still hopeful about doing well in the future, especially with popular products like Nescafe.
Nestle India's net profit declined by 13.4% in Q1.
Revenue from operations increased by 5.9% to Rs 5,096.2 crore.
Higher raw material and finance costs impacted earnings.
Manish Tiwary will succeed Suresh Narayanan as Chairman and Managing Director in August 2025.
Share price dipped 5.59% following the announcement.
