Varanasi Marks Modi’s 25-Year Public-Service Milestone With Ganga Aarti

People in Varanasi held a special ceremony by the Ganga River to mark Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service.

The event took place at Front Ghat and was organised by Namami Gange.

Participants performed aarti, offered milk to the river, and prayed for Modi’s health and long life.

They also prayed for the country’s welfare.

Some people carried flags and pictures of Modi.

Attendees chanted mantras and cleaned the riverbank.

They encouraged others to make cleanliness part of everyday life.

Modi’s public-service milestone dates back to October 7, 2001, when he became Gujarat’s chief minister.
