Bengaluru builder to demolish tilted tower

Bengaluru builder to demolish tilted tower

A builder in Bengaluru, India, has decided to demolish and rebuild an 18-storey residential tower because it has a slight tilt.

The company that demolished the Supertech Twin Towers in Noida will handle the demolition.

The tower, called Block E-3 at SNN Raj Etternia, has a problem with its foundation.

The builder found this issue during final checks before giving the apartments to buyers.

The demolition will take about 5-6 months, and rebuilding will take around 18 months.

The builder will pay for the demolition and rebuilding, which will cost about ₹20 crore.

They will also give money to the 49 affected homebuyers to help with their mortgage payments and rent while they wait for their new apartments.

The homebuyers were initially upset but understand why the builder is doing this.

This is different from other cases where buildings were demolished because they broke rules.

In this case, the builder found the problem themselves and decided to fix it before giving the apartments to buyers.
