Nurses Diagnose Cancer and TB in Bhopal
In Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, nurses and other health workers are screening people for cancer and tuberculosis at special health centers called Arogya Mandir.
These centers used to be called Health & Wellness Centres.
The nurses, who are specially trained, check for cancers like oral, breast, and cervical cancers, as well as tuberculosis.
After the screening, if someone needs more tests, they are sent to bigger hospitals.
