University Event Urges Students and Researchers to Explore Microorganisms

Adikavi Nannaya University held a programme about microorganisms.

Microorganisms are extremely small living things that cannot usually be seen without special tools.

The university’s Vice-Chancellor said they affect many parts of daily life.

They help with food, farming, health, industry and the environment.

They also recycle nutrients and help keep nature balanced.

Some microorganisms can live in very hot or very cold places.

Dr P Neelima spoke about how microbiology helps medicine.
