EC Sets Deadline for Voter Hearings
The Election Commission has asked officials to finish all hearings of voters who have discrepancies in their forms within seven days.
They also need to upload all the documents they collect from these voters within the same time.
The EC wants to make sure everything is done on time so they can publish the final list of voters by February 14.
They have given specific instructions to complete all pending tasks, including generating and serving notices.
The EC is also going to check the work done by lower-level officials to ensure everything is correct.
They are moving observers to help with this checking process.
The Election Commission has set a seven-day deadline for completing hearings of voters with discrepancies.
All documents collected from voters must be uploaded within the same seven-day period.
