Mumbai Indians Name Luke Williams Head Coach For WPL 2027

Mumbai Indians have chosen Luke Williams as their new women’s cricket coach.

He will lead the team during the 2027 Women’s Premier League season.

Williams previously coached Royal Challengers Bengaluru when they won the 2024 title.

He replaces Lisa Keightley, who left the role after taking a development job with Cricket Australia.

Williams has coached in several countries and also works with the Adelaide Strikers.

Mumbai Indians have won two WPL titles, in 2023 and 2025.

The team finished fourth last season and did not reach the playoffs.

Williams must now help decide which players Mumbai Indians keep before the player auction.
