Hyundai India Cuts Car Prices Up To Rs 2.4 Lakh After GST Reduction
Hyundai India is making its cars cheaper!
This is because the government changed the taxes, called GST, on cars.
Smaller cars now have a lower tax rate, and Hyundai is passing these savings to their customers.
Starting September 22, people will pay less for popular Hyundai models like the Grand i10 Nios and Creta.
The price cuts range from about Rs 60,000 to over Rs 2 lakh, with the biggest cut on the Tucson.
Hyundai's boss said they are happy about this and hope it will make cars more affordable.
They also hope it will encourage more people to buy cars during the upcoming holiday season.
Hyundai India will reduce prices on its passenger vehicles.
Price cuts will be effective from September 22.
Reductions can go up to Rs 2.4 lakh.
GST on small cars has been reduced from 28% to 18%.
The company expects increased sales due to the new pricing.
