BSF Identifies Pak Drone Hotspots in Punjab
The Border Security Force (BSF) has found special areas in Punjab where drones from Pakistan are most active.
They are upgrading their systems to detect and stop these drones.
In 2025, they caught many drones, seized drugs and weapons, and stopped people trying to cross the border illegally.
Recent floods damaged some border fences, but the BSF and Punjab Police worked together to prevent any misuse of the situation.
The BSF is also using new technology to detect underground tunnels and improve border security.
They are working closely with other agencies to make sure the border is safe.
BSF identified 'hot spots' of drone activity from Pakistan in Punjab and Jammu.
Anti-drone systems along the border are being upgraded with multiple sensors.
In 2025, BSF recovered 275 drones, seized 380 kg of heroin, and 200+ weapons.
Recent floods damaged 60 km of border fencing, but BSF and Punjab Police prevented exploitation.
BSF is strengthening the anti-infiltration grid, especially in Jammu, with additional battalions.
