Shubman Gill Warned Kuldeep Yadav Could Be Crucial Overseas
Kuldeep Yadav is a spin bowler for India.
Ravi Shastri says he is India’s best spinner when the team plays overseas.
On turning pitches, a spinner can often take wickets by bowling accurately in one area.
But New Zealand may have flatter pitches with less turn.
That could make Kuldeep’s role more challenging.
The former India batter believes he could still be very useful on those flat surfaces.
The captain and coaches should support him and keep his confidence high.
The comments describe Kuldeep as a potentially important player in New Zealand.
Ravi Shastri considers Kuldeep Yadav India’s No. 1 spinner in overseas conditions.
A former India batter said Kuldeep needs accuracy on turning pitches to take wickets.
New Zealand may not offer the sharply turning tracks that suit conventional spin bowling.
Kuldeep could be especially important on flat pitches or surfaces offering little turn.
The captain and team management were urged to keep Kuldeep’s confidence high.
