Trump Blames Democrats for ICE Shootings
President Trump said that two Americans were killed by federal agents in Minneapolis because Democrats in cities and states are not helping with his immigration crackdown.
He said that during Biden's time, many undocumented immigrants came into the US.
Trump also said that his administration is trying to deport many criminal undocumented immigrants.
He blamed Democrats for not cooperating with ICE and said that this is making communities unsafe.
He also said that in states where Republicans are in charge, ICE is working well with local police and arresting many criminal undocumented immigrants.
Democrats argue that Trump's policies are harsh and that sanctuary cities protect immigrants.
A doctor who tried to help one of the victims, Alex Pretti, said that ICE agents hesitated to let him provide medical aid.
Pretti's parents described him as a hero who was trying to protect a woman when he was shot.
They also criticized the Trump administration for spreading what they call 'sickening lies' about their son.
Former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton condemned the killings and urged Americans to take action against Trump's immigration policies.
