Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic Clash at Box Office
Two big movies, Dhurandhar 2 and Toxic, are coming out on the same day, March 19, 2026.
Dhurandhar 2 is the sequel to the biggest Bollywood hit ever, starring Ranveer Singh.
Toxic is a gangster movie starring Yash.
People who work in movie theaters and those who predict movie success are worried because both movies are very popular and might split the audience.
This could mean fewer people watching each movie, which isn't good for either.
Some think one of the movies should change its release date to avoid this problem.
Dhurandhar 2's release date is already set and won't change, but Toxic might move to another date.
The goal is to make sure both movies do well at the box office.
Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh, is set to release on March 19, 2026, and its release date is confirmed and irrevocable.
Toxic, starring Yash, is also scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, but there is a possibility it might shift to another date to avoid a clash.
Trade pundits and film exhibitors are concerned about the clash as it may split the audience and affect the box office performance of both films.
Both films are aimed at the same core audience and are mass-driven spectacles, making a direct clash potentially harmful.
The opening weekend is crucial for a film's success, and a clash could dent the opening numbers and momentum for both movies.
