Bihar Officer Murder: Driver Confesses, Cites Work Pressure
A man named Vimal Kumar, who worked for the local council in Dehri, was killed in a road attack in Bihar.
The driver of his car, Mithilesh Kumar, later admitted he killed him because they argued about work.
He first said strangers attacked them, but later changed his story.
Police noticed he was not hurt and that he and the officer had a bad working relationship.
This case follows another similar murder in the same state earlier this year.
Executive officer Vimal Kumar was murdered in Aurangabad district, Bihar, late Saturday night.
Driver Mithilesh Kumar confessed to the killing, blaming work‑pressure disputes with the officer.
The attack happened on Barun Canal Road while Kumar was traveling from Dehri to Patna; the driver gave conflicting statements about the assailants.
Police found the driver uninjured and noted a strained professional relationship between the two men.
The case follows a previous murder of a municipal executive in Bhagalpur earlier this year.
