Ugandan Businessman Allegedly Assaulted Twice; Eight Booked In Mumbai

Police in Mumbai are investigating a complaint by a 28-year-old Ugandan businessman.

He said he was attacked twice after visiting a pub in Khar.

The first argument allegedly began when his elbow accidentally touched a woman.

He said the woman and a male friend slapped him before bouncers intervened.

He later said he was attacked again near Union Bank on Fifth Road.

Police booked eight people, including the woman.

Six people were identified and traced to homes in Goregaon using CCTV footage.

They were released after receiving police notices.

The accused reportedly claimed that the businessman had misbehaved with their female friend, which he denied.
