Puri Fortifies for Rath Yatra with High Security Measures
The Rath Yatra, a big chariot festival, is happening in Puri on June 27.
To keep everyone safe, the town is turning into a fortress with lots of police and special security.
They're using AI cameras, snipers, and drones to watch over the crowds.
A new app will help people find parking and get information.
This year, there are extra security measures because of recent events.
The festival has large chariots carrying deities, and this year will include new steps for a safe and well-managed event.
Puri is heavily secured for the Rath Yatra, with approximately 10,000 security personnel.
Over 250 AI-enabled cameras are installed for surveillance along the route.
NSG snipers are deployed, and anti-drone technology will be used for aerial monitoring.
Real-time chatbot application is launched to help visitors with information.
