National Live Creative Day Encourages Joyful Everyday Making
Live Creative is an invitation to try making something new.
You can draw, paint, cook or build something with your hands.
You can also sing, tell stories or write poems.
Your mind can help you invent characters, games and unusual solutions.
Children may feel more confident when they express themselves creatively.
You can create by yourself or with friends and family.
There are no fixed rules for being creative.
The most important thing is to enjoy exploring and making.
Live Creative invites people to make space for imagination and creativity.
Hands-on activities can include drawing, painting, clay work, paper crafts, DIY projects and cooking.
Singing, storytelling, poetry, mimicry and sharing ideas offer creative ways to use the voice.
Writing stories, inventing characters, solving puzzles and creating games encourage creativity through the mind.
The focus is on experimenting and enjoying the process rather than producing a perfect masterpiece.
