Chandigarh Land Dispute: Punjab vs. Haryana

Punjab and Haryana are arguing over a piece of land in Chandigarh.

Haryana wants to build a new government building there, but Punjab says no because they believe Chandigarh belongs only to Punjab.

The central government recently said no to Haryana's request, agreeing with Punjab.

This is a big deal because Chandigarh is very important to Punjab's history and identity.

The land Haryana offered in exchange was not good, and building new things in the current government building area is not allowed.

This fight has been going on for a long time, and many people in Punjab feel hurt and let down by past promises.
