China and US Set for Trade Talks in UK
The US and China are having more talks about trade.
High-level officials from both countries will meet in the UK to discuss ongoing disputes.
These discussions follow earlier talks in Geneva where some progress was made, but tensions remain.
Issues like rare earth mineral exports and trade tariffs will likely be on the agenda.
The US has criticized China over the slow implementation of commitments, which further complicates the situation.
China's Vice Premier He Lifeng will visit the UK for trade talks.
The visit is scheduled from June 8 to June 13.
He Lifeng will also participate in the China-US economic and trade consultation.
US officials, including Treasury and Commerce Secretaries, will lead the American side.
