Uttarakhand Opens Automated Driving Test Tracks with Maruti Suzuki
Uttarakhand's government has teamed up with Maruti Suzuki to make roads safer.
They've opened new automated driving test tracks in Haridwar and Rishikesh, where computers check if drivers are good enough.
These tracks use cameras and computers to test drivers fairly, without any help from humans.
The goal is to make sure only skilled drivers get licenses, which should make the roads safer for everyone.
Maruti Suzuki also helps train commercial drivers, especially for the Char Dham Yatra.
These new tracks build on a previous one in Dehradun, which has improved driving test standards.
This program aims to improve road safety and skilled driving within the region.
Uttarakhand inaugurated automated driving test tracks (ADTTs) in Haridwar and Rishikesh.
The facilities were developed by Maruti Suzuki India Limited under its CSR initiative.
The ADTTs use high-definition cameras and IT systems for computerized evaluations.
These tracks aim to ensure only competent drivers receive licenses, improving road safety.
Maruti Suzuki partners with the state for commercial driver refresher courses.
