Kerala PSC Aspirants Protest Temporary Driver Appointments at Secretariat

Kerala PSC Aspirants Protest Temporary Driver Appointments at Secretariat

A group of people waiting for Kerala government driver jobs held a protest.

They were on a Kerala Public Service Commission rank list.

They said temporary hiring could reduce their chances of getting permanent appointments.

The protest happened outside the state Secretariat on Wednesday, during Thiruvonam.

The protesters sat on the road and held banners.

They also shouted slogans asking officials to act fairly.

As a symbol, they pretended to eat soil from banana leaves.

They want the appointment process to be more transparent and accountable.
