Nellore Ganesh Mandap Organisers Asked To Register For Permissions
Ganesh festival organisers in Nellore are being asked to register before putting up temporary mandaps.
The registration will help them receive the required permissions in one place.
The Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Utsav Samithi is coordinating the arrangements.
Its office will open on September 5.
The celebrations will start on September 14.
They will continue for five days.
On September 18, idols will be taken in a procession and immersed.
The immersion will happen at Penna Ghat and Nellore Cheruvu Ganesh Ghat with government support.
The Vikrama Simhapuri Ganesh Utsav Samithi asked temporary mandap organisers in Nellore to register for permissions.
The Samithi will provide permissions through a single-window system from its office at TVS Kalyana Sadan.
The Samithi office at Trunk Road’s Shivaji Centre will open on September 5.
Five-day Ganesh Chaturthi festivities will begin on September 14.
A procession and immersion of temporary idols is planned for September 18 at designated ghats with government support.
