BLOs Face Pressure Amid SIR Duties

Two men who worked as Booth Level Officers (BLOs) in different parts of India are in the news because of sad events.

One man, Amit Kumar Mondal, from West Bengal, has gone missing, and his family is worried.

The other man, Umesh, from Uttar Pradesh, sadly took his own life.

Both were under a lot of pressure because of their jobs, which involved checking and updating voter lists.

The government is doing this work to make sure the voter lists are correct.

The families of these men say they were under too much pressure, but the government says that's not true.

The opposition parties are also criticizing the government for this.
