MLA alleges bias in development funds
An MLA named Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy from Munugode said that the government is not paying contractors for finished development works.
He thinks the government is only paying bills in the areas of the Chief Minister and some ministers, not others.
He warned that if this keeps happening, he might take serious action.
He also said he will close some pharma companies in his area because he believes they are causing problems for local people.
MLA Rajagopal Reddy alleges government is not releasing pending bills for development works.
He claims contractors have stopped ongoing works due to unpaid bills.
He informed the Chief Minister about the issue a month ago but no action was taken.
He alleges discrimination in fund allotment and bill payments, favoring the Chief Minister and some ministers.
He warns of extreme steps if the discrimination continues and officials do not cooperate.
