Indore Cracks Down on Substandard Biodiesel Sales
In Indore, authorities found a biodiesel pump selling bad fuel.
They checked the pump and found the fuel was not good quality.
The pump was not buying fuel from the right suppliers.
The fuel they were selling was too thin and not safe.
The authorities took all the bad fuel and closed the pump.
They will test the fuel and take more action if needed.
This is to keep people safe and make sure the government gets the right money.
Authorities seized 17,671 litres of substandard biodiesel worth over Rs 15 lakh from M/s Prarthi Biodiesel Pump in Depalpur, Indore.
The biodiesel had a density of 821, significantly below the standard density of above 900.
The pump was sourcing fuel from unauthorized suppliers instead of the six government-authorized licensed companies.
The pump was sealed, and sales were halted immediately.
Samples of the seized biodiesel have been sent to an authorized laboratory for further testing.
