Andhra Pradesh Launches Its First Laddu Prasadam ATM Trial
A temple in Vijayawada has started using a machine that sells laddu prasadam.
Laddu prasadam is a sweet offering from the temple.
Devotees can use UPI digital payments to buy it.
The machine gives them the laddu within seconds.
This may help people avoid waiting in long lines.
Officials will study the trial before adding similar machines elsewhere.
They also warned people not to buy fake puja or darshan tickets.
Preparations are continuing for the temple’s Dasara celebrations.
Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam in Vijayawada introduced Andhra Pradesh’s first laddu prasadam vending machine.
The ATM was inaugurated on Wednesday by Endowments Commissioner K Ramachandra Mohan.
Devotees can pay through UPI and collect laddu prasadam within seconds.
The machine is a pilot project intended to reduce queues, especially on normal days.
Officials also warned devotees about fake tickets and outlined preparations for Dasara Sarannavarathri celebrations.
