Hyderabad News Briefs: Waqf Tribunal Benches, Parsi Novroz, Drug Raids

In Hyderabad, India, some people wanted the government to make more court offices for property disputes involving the Waqf Board.

There are about 1,500 cases waiting to be decided.

These people said other states, like Karnataka and Maharashtra, each have two of these courts.

They think Telangana should have two as well.

In another story, the Parsi community in Hyderabad celebrated two special days at once: India's Independence Day and Novroz, their New Year.

They raised the flag, prayed at fire temples, and enjoyed food, music and games.

In a third story, government health inspectors checked medicine shops selling weight-loss drugs.

They found problems at 43 shops, like selling medicine without prescriptions.

Officials warned people not to buy these drugs from unapproved websites or sellers.
