Jaipur pet mouse Kittu amasses 45,000 Instagram followers being himself

Kittu is a little pet mouse who lives in Jaipur, India, with his owner, Shivani Chauhan.

His job, if you can call it that, is to simply be himself.

Chauhan films Kittu while he sleeps, eats, explores and stores food in his tiny basket.

Kittu loves paneer, a kind of cheese, and he also enjoys peas, carrots and corn.

He even has opinions about snacks, sometimes ignoring treats that do not interest him.

Lots of people watch Kittu's videos on Instagram, where his account has nearly 45,000 followers.

Some of his videos have been liked hundreds of thousands of times.

People say watching him feels calming because Kittu never rushes.

He has no idea about likes or followers at all.

He just eats, rests and enjoys his day at his own pace.
