Seven Books on Himachal Released

On January 1, 2024, seven new books about Himachal Pradesh were released at the Gaiety Theatre in Shimla.

These books talk about the state's languages, culture, traditions, and geography.

The event was organized by the Himachal Literature, Culture and Environment Manch and Adhar Publication Pvt Ltd.

The books were written by both famous and new writers.

The Public Works Department Minister, Vikramaditya Singh, was the chief guest.

He said it's important for writers to be honest and truthful in their work.

The Secretary of Education, Rakesh Kanwar, also spoke and said that even though writing books isn't very profitable, people are still interested in reading and writing.

Young authors like Akhilesh Pathak, Chaip Ram, and Tashi Chairring Negi talked about their books and the research they did.
