Sara Jane Moore, Presidential Assassin, Dies at 95

Sara Jane Moore, who tried to kill President Gerald Ford in 1975, has died.

She shot at Ford in San Francisco but missed.

She was sentenced to life in prison but was released in 2007.

Moore expressed regret for her actions, saying she felt caught up in the political movements of the time.

She was also an FBI informant and was involved with leftist groups.

She was often confused with another woman, Lynette Fromme, who also tried to assassinate Ford.

Ford survived both attempts on his life.
