TransUnion CIBIL Classifies Indian Credit Card Users

TransUnion CIBIL Classifies Indian Credit Card Users

TransUnion CIBIL, a credit information company, recently published a report that categorizes Indian credit card users into four groups.

The first group, called Occasional Card Users (OCUs), uses their cards very little, with less than 10% of their credit limit.

The second group, Card-Centric Users (CCUs), uses their cards for liquidity and has a moderate usage between 10% and 75%.

The third group, Diversified Credit Users (DCUs), has multiple loans and uses their cards moderately.

The fourth group, High Exposure Users (HEUs), uses more than 75% of their credit limit and has multiple cards.

The report helps understand how different people use their credit cards and the trends associated with each group.
