Hockey India President Files Police Complaint Amid Federation Power Struggle

Hockey India is having a disagreement between some of its top officials.

President Dilip Tirkey filed a police complaint against several people connected with the federation.

He says an official vehicle was taken back while his bag, medicines and documents were still inside.

Tirkey says his calls asking for the belongings to be returned were not answered.

The complaint makes serious allegations, but police have not yet registered an FIR.

Tirkey and Secretary General Bhola Nath Singh also disagree about meetings and other administrative decisions.

One disputed meeting discussed changes to the Hockey India League and future hockey events.

Bhola Nath said he did not know about the complaint because he was in Japan for the Asian Games.

He said the federation election would take place on November 7.
