Andhra Pradesh Plans College Buildings, Libraries Across Constituencies

Andhra Pradesh wants to improve buildings and facilities at 37 government degree colleges.

Each college may need about Rs 15 crore to become fully equipped.

The Allagadda college has grown from 18 first-year students to 103 students in 2025-26.

The government plans to add classrooms, laboratories, computers, furniture and staff.

It also wants to build libraries in all 175 assembly constituencies over the next three years.

A model library in Mangalagiri already helps as many as 300 students prepare for competitive exams.

The Kadapa library is expected to be completed within nine months.

A larger central library planned for Amaravati will include training and cultural facilities.
