Ukraine Suspects Russia in Murder of Ex-Speaker

Ukrainian officials believe Russia was involved in the murder of Andriy Parubiy, a former speaker of Ukraine's parliament.

A suspect has been arrested and detained after the murder, which took place in Lviv, Ukraine.

The police chief stated the crime was carefully planned and the suspect disguised as a courier.

Parubiy was a key figure in the 2014 protests that ousted the pro-Russian president.

The suspect was captured in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Both countries have accused each other of targeting political and military figures since the 2022 invasion.
