Police Recover ₹2.59 Lakh From Fake Zudio Franchise Fraud

A trader in a small town in India was checking social media when bad people sent him a message.

They pretended to work for a big, famous company and promised him a brand-new store.

The store was supposed to be for a well-known clothing brand called Zudio, part of Tata Enterprises.

The trader wanted the store, so he sent the bad people a lot of money.

After sending the money, the trader realized he had been tricked.

He told the police, who are helpers that catch bad people.

The police worked with banks to find out where the money went.

They stopped the bad people from using their bank accounts and got all the money back.

The money was returned to the trader, and everyone was relieved.

The police now tell people to be careful online and call a special number, 1930, if someone tries to trick them.
