Delhi Deploys Drones to Monitor Traffic Ahead of BRICS Summit

Delhi Traffic Police is using drones to watch roads from the sky.

This is the first time the police are using drones for this traffic purpose.

The drones can help officials find traffic jams and slow-moving areas.

The plan began while Delhi prepares for the BRICS Summit.

The summit will take place on September 12 and 13.

Officials also want to use the drones during processions, protests and the festive season.

They hope this will help manage busy roads more effectively.

The decision follows complaints about long delays during the India AI Impact Summit in February.
