Fuel prices in many Indian cities stayed almost the same on September 7.

Mumbai petrol became slightly more expensive than the day before.

In New Delhi, petrol cost ₹102.12 per litre and diesel cost ₹95.20.

Other cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Thiruvananthapuram, had different prices because state taxes vary.

The price of Brent crude oil rose by 0.4%.

This happened while the United States and Iran reported renewed military tensions.

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries decided not to change its October 2026 oil production targets.

Iran said it targeted some ships, but the United States denied that an American unmanned vessel had been hit.
