Warangal Ropeway Project Seeks Funding
There's a plan to build a ropeway between two temples in Warangal, India.
The idea is to help tourists move easily between the Bhadrakali Temple and the Padmakshi Temple, which are about 3 km apart by road.
The ropeway would make the distance shorter, about 1.7 km.
The plan also includes building a museum and restoring a nearby lake.
The project has been stuck because of money issues.
The government first asked for money in 2017 but didn't get enough.
Now, they are asking a big temple organization, TTD, for help.
The TTD chairman said he might help, but it's not sure yet.
If the ropeway gets built, more tourists might visit these temples.
A ropeway project proposed in 2017 aims to connect Bhadrakali Temple and Padmakshi Temple in Warangal.
The project is stalled due to funding constraints, with only Rs 3 crore initially allocated.
The ropeway would reduce the travel distance between the temples from 3 km to 1.7 km.
Additional plans include a heritage museum and restoration of a nearby tank and ghats.
The Endowments Minister sought financial assistance from TTD, which responded positively.
