UP Man Challenges Withdrawal of 556 Gazetted Posts
A man named Alok Krishna Mishra from Uttar Pradesh took an exam to get a government job.
He did well in the first part of the exam and was hoping to get the job.
But just a few days before the results of the second part were announced, the government decided to cancel all 556 jobs.
Mishra was very disappointed and fought in court to get the jobs back.
However, the court said the government was allowed to cancel the jobs because of some rules.
Mishra is now planning to go to a higher court to fight for his job.
Alok Krishna Mishra, a 32-year-old from Deoria, UP, cleared the Tier 1 exam for gazetted posts of AAO.
The SSC withdrew 556 vacancies four days before the Tier 2 results were to be announced.
Mishra fought the case in the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) for nearly two years.
The CAT upheld the withdrawal of vacancies, stating it was valid under the DoPT guidelines.
Mishra is currently a Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) in MP and plans to move the High Court.
