Privilege motion against Kunal Kamra progresses
A motion has been accepted against a comedian named Kunal Kamra.
He made some jokes about a politician named Eknath Shinde, which upset some people.
The motion was started by some politicians from the BJP party.
Now, a special committee will look into the matter and report back.
This all started when Kamra performed at a comedy club in Mumbai and made some comments about Shinde.
Some people who support Shinde were so upset that they damaged the place where Kamra was performing.
The committee will now decide what to do next.
A breach of privilege motion against comedian Kunal Kamra has been accepted and referred to the Privileges Committee.
The motion was initiated by BJP MLCs after Kamra's video criticizing the government went viral in March.
Kamra referred to Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as a 'traitor' during a comedy performance.
Shiv Sena functionaries ransacked the venue where Kamra performed in response to his remarks.
