Opposition to Raise Donation Theft, Inflation, Schools in UP Monsoon Session
In Uttar Pradesh, the opposition is getting ready to talk about big problems in a short meeting.
They want to ask about money that might have been stolen from the Ram Temple, how much things cost, and why many schools were closed.
They also want to talk about jobs for young people and help farmers.
The meeting will last only three days, so the opposition thinks there isn’t enough time to talk about everything.
They want the government to give more time and to show a report about the money theft.
The government says it will keep the meeting short to avoid long debates.
Opposition leaders plan to raise donation theft at the Ram Temple, inflation, unemployment, and school closures in the three‑day Monsoon Session.
The session, from Aug 3 to Aug 6, will also cover the supplementary budget for 2026‑27 and other bills, but opposition parties argue the brief duration limits debate.
Congress leader Aradhana Mishra criticised the government for avoiding a full debate and called for a public SIT report on the alleged donation theft.
Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav said the opposition would target the BJP government on farmers’ distress, paper leaks, education, and alleged corruption in expressway projects.
The opposition highlighted concerns over the closure of thousands of primary schools, reduced enrolment, and teacher shortages under the previous SP government.
