Police Block BRS Leaders’ Sanathnagar TIMS Visit, Harish Rao Arrested
BRS leaders wanted to visit a hospital called TIMS in Sanathnagar.
Police stopped several of them from leaving their homes and placed them under house arrest.
Harish Rao was among the leaders affected.
BRS said the visit was meant to answer claims made by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.
The party also said the hospital was opened without enough basic facilities.
BRS credited the earlier KCR government with starting the TIMS hospital project.
Congress leaders say their government provided enough money to develop the hospital.
The two parties are arguing about the project’s history, funding, and current condition.
Police placed several BRS leaders, including Harish Rao, under house arrest before their planned visit to Sanathnagar TIMS Hospital.
The leaders intended to challenge Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s comments and present what they called the facts about the hospital.
