Iranian President Seeks Return to June Understanding With United States
Iran’s president says his country wants to bring back an agreement made with the United States in June.
The agreement was supposed to help create a larger peace deal.
It fell apart soon after it was made.
China has also said the agreement should be revived.
Iran welcomed that idea.
However, Iran’s president recently said his country would not give in to pressure from the United States.
Iranian and American officials met at the United Nations to discuss the situation.
Their meeting did not immediately solve the problem.
