IndiGo, India's biggest airline, has ordered over 1,000 special engines called LEAP-1A from a company called CFM International.

These engines will power 510 new planes that IndiGo is getting from Airbus.

This is the biggest order ever for these types of engines.

CFM International will also help IndiGo set up a place in Bengaluru to take care of the engines and provide spare parts.

IndiGo already has more than 400 planes and has ordered over 900 more from Airbus.

This big order shows that India is a very important market for airplane engines.

IndiGo has been working with CFM International for 10 years and thinks these new engines will help them grow and be more reliable.
