Trump Warns U.S. of Ceuta Migration Crisis
Donald Trump talked to a Fox News reporter about a big wave of migrants coming into a Spanish town called Ceuta.
He said the pictures of people crossing the border were a warning that the U.S. might have a similar problem if Democrats win elections.
Trump also said that if Democrats win, life would be hard for many people.
White House staff, like Vice President JD Vance and Stephen Miller, posted the same warning on social media.
In Spain, the crisis caused many deaths and the military had to help control the crowds.
European leaders, such as Ursula von der Leyen, said they would help Spain, but Trump’s comments were mainly political.
Trump warned the U.S. could face a similar migrant surge if Democrats win, citing the Ceuta crisis.
He said, "It's terrible. Remember that picture. That's going to be us in three years if the wrong side gets in," and that Democrats would make life difficult.
Ceuta saw tens of thousands of migrants from Morocco, at least 18 deaths, and military deployment to manage the influx.
White House officials, including VP JD Vance and Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, echoed Trump’s warnings on social media.
EU leaders, such as Ursula von der Leyen, condemned the crossings and pledged support for Spain, while the U.S. reaction was politically charged.
