Pakistan Invites Modi to 2027 SCO Summit in Islamabad
Pakistan said it will invite India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a big meeting in 2027 called the SCO Summit.
The SCO is a group of countries that meet to talk about politics and security.
Pakistan wants to invite all leaders from the group, so Modi will be invited too.
This happens after a fight in 2025 that made India and Pakistan more upset with each other.
Pakistan also said it would invite all other leaders from the SCO.
They didn’t say if India asked for a meeting with Pakistan’s foreign minister at a different meeting in Manila.
The invitation shows Pakistan wants to keep talking with India even though they have had problems.
Pakistan confirms it will invite Indian PM Narendra Modi to the 2027 SCO Summit in Islamabad.
The invitation follows SCO protocol that extends invites to all member heads of state or government.
Pakistan’s foreign ministry said it would also invite all other SCO member heads of state and government.
The announcement comes amid heightened India‑Pakistan tensions after the 2025 Pahalgam terror attack.
Pakistan declined to confirm any meeting request between Indian and Pakistani foreign ministers at the ASEAN forum.
