Allu Arjun Offers Namaste to His Own Statue, Memes Follow
A very famous Indian actor named Allu Arjun went to a city called Visakhapatnam to open a new movie theater called AAA Cinemas.
At the opening, there was a big bronze statue of Allu Arjun himself.
The statue showed him looking like his famous movie character, Pushpa Raj, wearing sunglasses and a beard.
Allu Arjun walked up to the statue and greeted it by putting his hands together in a respectful namaste.
People on the internet saw the picture and thought it was funny.
They made lots of jokes and memes about the actor greeting his own statue.
Some people remembered a funny scene from a movie with another actor named Rajinikanth, who also had a big moment with his own statue.
A few people said Allu Arjun was just showing off, and they even called it 'self-worship.'
But others said it makes sense, because Pushpa Raj is the character that made Allu Arjun famous all across India.
In the end, everyone just had a good laugh about it.
Allu Arjun offered a namaste to his own bronze statue during the inauguration of AAA Cinemas in Visakhapatnam on Sunday.
The statue depicts his iconic Pushpa Raj look, complete with sunglasses, beard and the trademark 'Thaggede Le' pose.
Social media users quickly turned the photograph into meme material, including a viral Telugu comment reading 'Em chesthunnav bhAAi?'.
Fans compared the real-life moment to Rajinikanth's famous interaction with his own statue in the film Sivaji: The Boss.
While some users called the gesture 'self-worship,' others noted the Pushpa franchise helped establish Allu Arjun as a pan-India star.
