DU, Russia's HSE University to set up Space Mirror Lab
The University of Delhi (DU) in India and Russia’s HSE University have agreed to work together to create a special lab called the Space Mirror Lab.
This lab will be at DU's technology department and will help with studying how to store, process, and send data in space.
The leaders of both universities signed an agreement to make this happen.
They are excited because it will allow students and teachers from both countries to learn and work together on cool space projects.
This is not the first time they have worked together; last year, they also made an agreement to exchange students and teachers.
The lab is a big step in making their friendship and cooperation stronger.
DU and HSE University signed a Statement of Cooperation to set up a Space Mirror Lab at DU's Faculty of Technology.
The lab will focus on data storage, processing, and transmission in the space spectrum for academic research.
The agreement was signed by HSE University Rector Dr Nikita Anisimov and DU Registrar Dr Vikas Gupta.
The collaboration aims to enhance joint research and educational projects beneficial to both countries.
The two universities previously signed a MoU in 2022 to enhance exchange programs for students, researchers, and faculty.
